Interested in learning guitar, deejaying, beat production, or songwriting?
Ananalog founder, Ryan Sarno, is a former/future elementary school music teacher who has developed curricula to teach music theory, history, and practice to youth and adult musicians. Private and small group lessons are available in the Northwest Philadelphia area.
Guitar students learn harmony, rhythm, diverse playing techniques, and a practical approach to reading notation that will be useful across many styles.
Deejay students learn analog and digital (ananalog) beatmatching, rhythm, harmonic mixing, song sequencing, and tips for finding new music in the crates.
Beat production students learn sampling, sequencing, synthesis, drum machine programming, and digital audio recording and mastering.
Songwriting students learn song form, lyric writing, notation, melody and harmony, arranging, and recording.
In Ananalog spirit, lessons embrace a cross-genre, DIY, creative approach that encourages using the instruments and gear you already own. Elements from the guitar, deejay, beat production, and songwriting tracks can be applied to any curriculum. Students are encouraged to experiment, write songs, record demos, and perform. Lessons are tailored to suit each student’s goals.
Half-hour lessons are $25/hr. One hour lessons are $45. For group lessons, add $10/student per lesson.
